Trading conditions

1. Order and Payment

To shop at, you must be 18 years of age and in possession of a valid payment card that we accept.

When you place an order, you acknowledge that all the information you provide to us is correct and accurate, that you are an authorized user of the credit or debit card or any other payment method you use when placing your order, including that there are sufficient funds to cover the buyer.
Made by Toft IvS accepts payment with VISA, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal. Payment will only be debited from your account when the item is dispatched.
All amounts are in DKK/Danish kroner and include VAT.
Made by Toft IvS uses an approved payment server that encrypts all your card information with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that your information cannot be read.

To buy goods at Made by Toft, you must go through the following:

2. Personal information

To shop at www.madebytoft.dks, you must provide at least:
- Full name
– Address
– Email
– Telephone/mobile number

The above data is stored with information about the items you have purchased for 5 years from the end of the financial year to which the information relates, see Section 10 of the Accounting Act, after which the information is deleted.

Information is not passed on or sold to third parties, except in connection with a restructuring or a full or partial sale of the company. Disclosure in such a situation would be in accordance with the applicable privacy legislation at any given time. As a customer, you have the right to access our registration data about you, and you can object to registration in accordance with the rules in this Act on the processing of personal data, and questions regarding this must be addressed to:

3. Delivery

Made by Toft IvS packs web orders every weekday. Order received before 12.00, will be dispatched the same day. We send the package with the GLS package shop service.
The delivery time is usually 1-3 working days. Excluded from this are goods where it is stated that it is a made-to-order item with a longer delivery time. Larger furniture is picked up or delivered either with your own car or with furniture transport. Delivery to be agreed upon.

4. Right of complaint

Your purchase is covered by Danish sales legislation. This means that you as a consumer have 24 months' right to complain.
Our right of complaint applies to defects in material and/or manufacturing.
It is of course a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect is not caused by incorrect use of the product or other damage-causing behavior such as wear and tear and lack of maintenance.

You must contact us within a "reasonable time". You must report the complaint within a "reasonable time", i.e. immediately after you have discovered the error. We recommend that you make a complaint as soon as possible after the error has been discovered.
Made by Toft IvS will cover return costs to a reasonable extent.

Packages sent on cash on delivery are not accepted.

When returning, you should ensure that the goods are properly packed. You are responsible for the package/goods yourself until we receive them back. It is therefore a good idea to save the postal receipt and track and trace number.

6. Right of withdrawal

There is a 14-day full right of return on goods purchased in our webshop. The period is calculated from the day you receive the order.

Return costs are your own responsibility.

Cancellations must be reported to us no later than 14 days after the purchase, and you must return the shipment no later than 14 days after the cancellation.

The notice must be given by mail at In the message, you must make us clearly aware that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. You can also choose to use our standard cancellation form and send with return. You will find it here

7. The condition of the item when you send it back

You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods which is due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and way of functioning of the goods. In other words – you can try the product in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store.

If the item has been tried on in addition to what is described above, we consider it as used, which means that if you cancel the purchase, you will only get a part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the item's commercial value.

In order to receive the full purchase amount back, you must therefore do the same as you can in a physical store. You may test the product, but not actually use it.

When we have received the item back, we check it and refund you the money. The amount will be transferred to the same means of payment that you paid with when you bought the item.

You may lose your purchase amount in whole or in part if the item's value has deteriorated because:

- you have actually used the item,

- the item has been damaged while you were responsible for it,

- you have handled the goods in a different way than was necessary to be able to determine the nature of the goods and the way they function.
